Tempus Fugit Memento Mori

Brother Knight Tim Cummings was ordained to the Priesthood on May 17th at the Cathedral of St. Jude in St. Petersburg.

Our Brother Knight joined the Order in March, 2002 after his four year stint in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Orion, the oldest ship in the Navy and the U.S.S. America, an aircraft carrier. Both were
decommissioned after his tours on them and he believed he should leave the Navy before they ran out of ships. During his tours he was able to visit many locations in the Mediterranean Basin.

For a number of years he was a teacher in the Confirmation Program and then involved with the start-up of LifeTeen at Nativity.

Father Tim is the oldest of five children and the son of Brother Knight and our Field Agent Tom III and Bonnie Cummings. Tim is a 4th generation Knight in the family. He hopes to take his 4th Degree in November. His brothers Tom IV and  Chris and brother in-law Sal Letobarone are also brother Knights.

During his Pastoral Year at All Saints, he worked with the local District
Deputy to restart an extinct council. He greatly admires Fr. McGivney and his commitment to the poor and the immigrant.

He spent one summer in Mexico in a total immersion Spanish experience to be better able to reach out to those in need.

Father Tim we are all proud of you!
