Tempus Fugit Memento Mori

Religious Art Projects by the Knights of Columbus

Our Lecturer Don Clark, (retired Police Officer from Washington D.C.) in addition to being a witty and engaging gentleman is also a Master Artist whose lends his skills to building up the culture of life and spreading the faith through his tremendous woodworking projects.  Every year he donates some of his work to Catholic Charities'  Pregnancy Plus Medical "Banquet for Life Charity Auction"  and his highly prized works raise money to help expectant mothers in need.

Some of Don's works are also carried by Catholic gift stores.

Don (with his able assistant Phil Primacio) also made the 400+ crosses that we use in front of the parishj each year to mourn the legalization of abortion each January and October.

Here is Don presenting an award to Fr Tim at his ordination. The award was designed and made by Don.

Don has also created a beautiful "Living Rosary" that we use each year for Marian processions like the May Crowning at Nativity,

Don has also designed, constructed and professionally finished an amazing frame for our life-size image of our Lady of Guadalupe that can be carried in procession, hung on a wall or be displayed upright. (picture pending)

Thank you Don for sharing your gifts with our council, our parish and the unborn.

"There are many gifts but only one Spirit there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit." 1 Corinthians 12: 4-7
