One of the great things about belonging to a fraternal organization that is over 100 years old is the multigenerational aspect. A man has to be 18 to join but there is no retirement age so it is possible to have fathers, sons, grandfathers and others all united as brothers as active members at the same time. Our council is priviledged to boast several father and son teams. Usually the son will join because the Father will have started the tradition but this is not always the case, sometimes it is the son who leads the way into the order but regardless of who went first it is a special family connection.
How many places can you think of where a father and son can be brothers to each other?
